Who we are
Hello, I’m LarryKevin and this is my wife Susan. We have been together for over 50 years!!! I wouldn’t be the man I am today without her influence. She keeps me on the straight and narrow.
We have three children and nine grandchildren. They keep us busy.
Busy, just like you! I know you have a hundred things on your plate, and sometimes things go sideways. Life can wear you down and it’s not always easy to put a positive spin on things. But you have to!!!! I think I can help you in that regard.
I was once young with the responsibility of raising a young family. I had to negotiate career development and family life. When this picture was taken, Susan and I were both teachers. Thank heaven, we had each other to get through the challenges of life.
Susan and I were both educators. We worked together while raising our family and furthering our careers. It was challenging, and we took full advantage of summer vacation!
Maybe you are in the same boat. Or maybe you haven’t started your own family yet. Family or not, I bet you feel alone at times. Going it alone is difficult and unnecessary.
We are taught to “pull ourselves up by our bootstraps.” We often feel vulnerable when sharing our struggles with life, and so we don’t. Together is Better! That’s a big reason for The Full Measure Membership: to give you a community where you can build a team of brothers around you.
Susan and I are retired now. We spend our time chasing the grandchildren, working in the yard, and traveling a bit. I keep myself busy with projects, like building the treehouse you see in the picture here.
All of this is great, and I am thankful for all of it! But something is missing. I’m being called to adventure. Building The Full Measure Membership site is my “answering the call to adventure.” My calling: to give encouragement, inspiration, tools for success, and a path forward.
It gives me purpose and keeps me “anxiously engaged in a good cause.” Actually, that is what this membership site is all about: helping you answer the call to adventure. The adventure of being anxiously engaged in your life.
We have to fight against mediocrity and accepting a “less than full measure” of life. No, we need to ask for a Full Measure of Life! I think I can help.
